Returns & Cancellations

Last updated September 7, 2026

Doors are bulky, made in specific sizes and finishes, and most of ours are built for the opening you measured. That shapes what can come back and what cannot. Here it is in plain terms.

The short version. Stock doors can be returned within 30 days, unopened and unused, with a 25% restocking charge. Special orders and anything cut, pre-hung or altered for you cannot be returned. Damage in transit is a separate matter — tell us within 48 hours and we replace it at no cost to you.

What can be returned

A stock door that is still in its original packaging, unused and undamaged, within 30 days of the date you received it. Every return has to be authorized by us in writing before it comes back; goods sent back without authorization cannot be credited.

Returned items are inspected at the warehouse before a credit is issued, and you need to be able to show proof of purchase.

What cannot be returned

If you are not sure which side of that line your order falls on, ask us before you buy. We will tell you plainly, and it will be on the invoice.

Restocking and shipping costs

Authorized returns carry a 25% restocking charge on the invoice price. The original delivery charge is not refunded, and the cost of getting the goods back to us is yours unless the return is our error or a manufacturing defect.

How to return something

  1. Call (480) 748-0296 or email [email protected] with your order number and what you want to return.
  2. We confirm in writing whether the item qualifies, and give you a return authorization.
  3. Bring the item to the showroom, or arrange collection with us.
  4. After inspection we issue the credit to the card you paid with, less the restocking charge. Allow a few business days for it to appear on the statement.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel a stock order any time before it is dispatched, at no cost. A special order can be cancelled only before manufacturing begins; once production has started, the order is firm, and any material and production costs already incurred are payable. The same applies to changes made after an order is placed.

Damaged or defective on arrival

This is not a return, and none of the charges above apply.

Inspect each item at delivery, before signing, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork. Open the boxes: concealed damage counts too. Report it to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the item and its packaging. We arrange a replacement or a repair.

Damage found once installation has begun cannot be accepted — checking condition before installing is what the inspection is for.

Manufacturing defects later on

Doors carry the manufacturer's limited two-year warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Send us photos and your order number and we will file the claim. Normal wear, moisture damage, misuse, and faults caused by installation done by others are not covered — the full terms are on the Terms of Sale page.
